Jagdish Saini

My name is Jagdish Saini and you can find me at Tis Hazari in Chamber No V-3. If you’ve ever been to the court complex, you know it’s a maze of people and papers everywhere. I spend most of my day right here in this chamber or running between the different courtrooms. It’s a small space, mostly filled with law books that have been there for years and stacks of files tied up with string. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of waiting around for a case to be called and a lot of writing out notes by hand. I handle the regular legal problems that people bring in, whether it’s a property dispute or some paperwork that needs filing. I don't use big words to try and impress anyone. I just tell people what the situation is and what we can do about it. The V block is usually crowded, especially in the mornings, so it gets quite loud outside the door. I’ve got a small desk and a couple of chairs for clients. We drink a lot of tea while we go over the details of their files. It’s a busy life, but it’s what I’ve been doing for a long time now. If you have some business at Tis Hazari and need to find me, just look for the V block near the middle. I’m usually there until the courts close for the day.
