If you know Nehru Place, you know how hectic it can be. We are based in the Siddarth building, specifically in room 408 on the fourth floor. Nehru Place is famous for being the biggest hub for computers and electronics in New Delhi, so there is always a lot of energy and people rushing around downstairs. Our office is a bit of an escape from all that chaos, although you can still hear the traffic and the crowds if you open the window. It is a functional space with enough room for our computers and a small meeting table that is usually covered in papers. The elevators in this building are quite slow, so we often end up taking the stairs if we are in a hurry. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle for making chai. It’s a basic office environment, nothing like the high-tech spaces you might imagine from the name. We deal with various things throughout the day and try to keep our files organized. Most of us have been working here for a while, so we know all the local food stalls where you can get a quick snack. It’s a practical location for us because everything we might need is just a short walk away in the market. We don't have any big signs or posters, just a small nameplate on the door to let people know they’ve found the right room.
