Hashh Applications Private Limited

Our office is down in the basement of R-792 in New Rajinder Nagar. It stays a bit cooler down here in the summer, which is a blessing, though we don't get much natural light. We’ve set up Hashh Applications in this space because it was what we could afford when we were starting out. It’s a quiet spot for the most part, away from the noise of the street. We’ve got a couple of rows of desks and some mismatched chairs. It isn't a place for showing off. We focus on building apps and keeping things functional. Sometimes the stairs are a bit steep if you’re carrying heavy equipment, but we’re used to it by now. The neighborhood has some good food spots, so lunch is usually the highlight of the day. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If someone knocks, one of us just gets up and answers the door. It’s a very direct way of working. Most of our time is spent coding or testing things on different devices. We’ve had a few leaks when it rains heavily, but we just move the computers and keep going. It’s just how things are in an old basement. We like the grit of it. It keeps us focused on the actual work instead of how the office looks. This is home for us during the week.
