Grover Enterprises is right at 27, Lehna Singh Market in Malka Ganj. If you know the area, you know how packed the market gets by mid-morning. Our spot isn't huge, but it fits everything we need. The walls are painted a light color that’s starting to peel a bit near the corner, but nobody really pays attention to that. We spend most of our time at the main table or checking the inventory in the back room. The door stays open most of the time so we can see who’s passing by in the market. You get to know the faces of the other shop owners around here. Malka Ganj has a specific kind of energy, and being at 27, Lehna Singh Market puts us right in the middle of it. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just sit and talk until it comes back on. We keep a kettle in the corner for making tea, which is pretty much a constant thing throughout the day. The furniture is mostly metal chairs and a few old shelves that we’ve had since the beginning. It’s a practical place, not meant for showing off. We just come in, do what needs doing, and deal with the heat when the fans aren't enough. It feels like home after so many years of working from this exact spot.
