G.B. Tech (India)

Our place is in Darya Ganj, right near the Chaudhary Eye Centre. If you know that area, you know how packed and narrow the lanes get. G.B. Tech (India) operates out of house number 4800/24. We’ve been around these streets for quite a few years now. It’s mostly about technical parts and machinery components here. We aren't a big showroom with glass windows and bright lights. It’s more of a workspace where we manage orders and check the inventory that comes in. Darya Ganj has a specific rhythm, and we’re very used to it by now. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time navigating the tight corners, but we manage to get things moved. We deal with various industrial items that people need for their workshops or small factories. It’s noisy outside with all the traffic, but we stay focused on the paperwork and the metal parts inside. We don’t spend much time or money on decorating the office. Most of our day goes into talking to suppliers on the phone or checking the quality of what arrives at the door. Being near the eye center helps people find our entrance. We don’t have a flashy sign, just a small board that usually has some dust on it. It’s a family-run kind of feel here, even if we handle some of the bigger technical orders for clients. We just do our bit every day and keep going. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a small break from the calls. Otherwise, it’s just work. We’ve seen many businesses come and go in this part of Darya Ganj, but we’re still at 4800/24 doing what we know.
