We set up Evh Technologies Private Limited on the ground floor of E-36 in Greater Kailash Enclave II. It’s a nice spot because we’re right near the park, which is great for a quick walk when our brains are feeling fried from looking at code all morning. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just pop in and say hello without having to navigate stairs or elevators. Greater Kailash is a bit of a fancy area, but our office inside is pretty down-to-earth and simple. We have a few rooms where we do all our development and tech support work. It’s not a corporate maze with cubicles. It’s just us, some sturdy desks, and a lot of empty coffee mugs. We’ve been here for a while and we really like the pace of this neighborhood. The work we do is pretty standard IT stuff, though we think we’re pretty good at getting things right the first time. We don't use a lot of buzzwords or try to sell people things they don't actually need. Usually, someone has a problem, they call us up, and we figure out a way to fix it. Sometimes the solutions are easy and sometimes they take all night, but that’s just the nature of working in technology. We have a small bookshelf with old technical manuals and a fridge that’s always half-empty. It’s a comfortable place to work for us. We aren't looking to expand into some giant corporation; we like things just the way they are right now.
