Our office is situated at B 1/14 on Sarai Mathew Road, which is right in the Safdarjung Enclave area. It’s a nice part of New Delhi, fairly central and easy enough to get to. We are located near the main road but tucked back enough that it’s not constantly deafening. The building is a typical South Delhi structure, and we’ve made our home in one of the units there. Inside, the space is divided into a few working areas. It’s not an open-plan office like you see in movies; it’s more traditional with actual rooms and doors. We have a lot of computers, as you might expect, and a lot of tangled cables that we keep meaning to organize. There’s a small balcony where some of us go to take a breather and look at the trees outside. It’s a pretty relaxed environment. We don't have a strict dress code, and there’s always someone talking about where to order the best lunch from. Safdarjung has some good options, so we’re never short on food choices. The office feels lived-in, with a few personal photos on desks and half-empty water bottles. We aren't interested in looking like a polished multinational company. We are just a group of people working together in a quiet neighborhood, trying to get through our lists and keep the systems running smoothly without making a big fuss about it or using fancy words to describe what we do.
