We’ve been tucked away in the Northern Railway Colony for a while now. The office is at 177/B-2, right in the thick of Pahar Ganj. It’s a busy spot, honestly. You can always hear the sounds of the railway and the general hum of Basant Lane just outside our door. Most mornings start with a quick cup of tea from the vendor down the street before we get into the day's work. The building itself has that old Delhi feel to it, maybe a bit weathered but it holds up. We don’t have any fancy glass walls or anything like that. It’s just desks, chairs, and a lot of papers scattered around. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that’s just life in this part of New Delhi. We know the neighbors pretty well, mostly other people working in the colony or railway staff moving back and forth. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the trains are switching tracks nearby, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm. Finding the place can be a little tricky if you aren't familiar with the numbered blocks, but once you’re on Basant Lane, it’s easier to spot. We just focus on getting through the tasks we have for the day. There’s no big corporate vibe here, just a handful of us trying to stay organized in a crowded part of the city. We keep the doors open when it’s not too dusty outside.
