We are set up on the ground floor at B-9/16, B-Block in Krishna Nagar, over in the Shahdara area. Being on the ground floor is convenient because we don't have to deal with stairs or elevators every time we go out for a break. Krishna Nagar is a really active neighborhood with lots of people and shops all around. Our office is pretty simple. We have the standard desks, some old chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of computer equipment. At Dotnitron, we focus on technology tasks. Some days are just spent doing routine maintenance on software, while other days we are trying to build something completely new. It gets quite loud outside sometimes with the street noise, but we have mostly learned to tune it out. We are a small crew, and most of us have been here since the beginning. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a basic electric kettle for making tea. The atmosphere is very informal. We talk about sports or the weather while we work. It is the kind of place where you can just be yourself. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just say we work in tech and leave it at that. Our goal is just to finish the day's work and get it done so we don't have to fix it tomorrow. It is just a regular job.
