Our office is on the ground floor of House No. 283 in the AJJ Colony block of Shakarpur. It is a busy part of Delhi, and being on the ground floor means we see a lot of what goes on in the street outside through the main door. We have a simple sign on the door, and inside, the space is filled with desks and a few shelves for our books and papers. Shakarpur is a crowded place, but our little corner of AJJ Colony is where we feel at home. We have set up the lab area with all the tools we need, though it often looks a bit messy to anyone walking in for the first time. There is a constant hum of computers and servers running in the background. We usually start the day by cleaning up the desks a bit before diving into the technical tasks at hand. There is no corporate polish here; we are just a bunch of people who enjoy the work we do. We often have tea together in the afternoon, taking a break from the screens to talk about whatever is on our minds. The walls are a little yellowed, and the floor has some scuffs from moving furniture around, but it shows that the place is actually used. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone telling us how to look professional. We just focus on the projects and try to keep things running smoothly in our small slice of Shakarpur.
