Building Materials & Technology Council

Building Materials & Technology Council is over in G-Wing of Nirman Bhawan. It’s a government-style building, so it has that specific feel to it. Lots of corridors and different offices all over the place. We’ve been set up in the G-Wing for quite some time. It’s not the most modern space, but it’s where we do our thing. We spend our days looking at papers and dealing with the technical side of things. Nirman Bhawan is a big place, so people sometimes get lost trying to find us the first time. Once you find the G-Wing, it’s easier. The team here is pretty grounded. We don’t go in for big speeches or anything like that. We just focus on the materials and the technology stuff we’re supposed to handle. It can be a bit quiet in the halls sometimes, then other times it’s a total rush. That’s just how it goes here. Building Materials & Technology Council isn't trying to be flashy. We have our desks, our files, and our daily list of things to get through. It’s a very functional environment. We work together, grab lunch when we can, and try to make sense of the projects on our plates. It’s just regular work in a regular office building.
