Bed Bath 'N' Beyond

You can find us over at Beadon Pura on Saraswati Marg, right in the heart of the Karol Bagh market. The shop is located at numbers 31/3226-28. Anyone who knows Delhi knows how incredibly busy Karol Bagh gets, especially when the weekend shoppers arrive. We sell all sorts of things for the home, like bedsheets, pillow covers, and thick towels. The shelves are always completely full, and sometimes the stock spills over onto the floor when we are busy. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when there are more than five or six customers inside at once. We’ve been here for a long time now, watching all the other shops on the street come and go. Our Bed Bath 'N' Beyond isn't some big corporate chain like you see in movies; it’s just our local store where we know where every single item is kept. The street outside is always full of noise, shoppers, and local food stalls. We spend a lot of our day folding and unfolding different fabrics for people to touch and look at. It can be quite exhausting for the back, but it’s just part of the daily trade. The lighting inside could probably be better, and the main counter is a bit scratched up from years of heavy use. We don't really mind the wear and tear. It feels like home to us. Most of our day is just helping folks pick out what they need.
