Balaji Accessories

You can find Balaji Accessories over at Karol Bagh 2. We've been operating out of this small storefront for quite a while now. The space is mostly filled with racks of different accessories for various electronics and vehicles. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than two people are inside at once. We keep most of our surplus in the basement, so there’s a lot of running up and down the stairs all day. The street outside is usually full of rickshaws and vendors, which makes for a lot of background noise. We don't really use a computer for our accounts, we just write everything down in a big register. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We get all sorts of people coming in, some looking for things we haven't seen in years. We try to keep a bit of everything so we don't have to turn anyone away. The lighting is a bit dim towards the back of the shop, but we have a flashlight handy. Most of the time it’s just me and my brother working the counter. We eat our tiffin together in the afternoon when the rush dies down a little. The street lights outside flicker a bit in the evening, but that's just part of the charm of Karol Bagh. We keep an old radio on the shelf that mostly plays news or some old songs while we work. It’s a steady life and we like being part of the local market scene.
