Our shop is tucked away in Naiwala, which is easily one of the busiest parts of Karol Bagh. It is located at 1839/49 and if you know this area, you know how crowded it gets with bikes and people looking for parts. We have shelves stacked high with all sorts of things like mirrors, lights, and handles. Half the time, the boxes are piled up so high you can barely see the back wall. It is a small space, but we manage to fit everything in somehow. Every morning starts with moving the displays out onto the edge of the street. The noise from the traffic outside never stops, but we are used to it by now. People come in from all over to find specific bits for their motorcycles. Sometimes they are just looking for a better seat cover or a louder horn. We don’t really do big talk here. We just show what we have in stock and let the customers decide. Often, we are wiping dust off the plastic packaging because the city air is just like that. Lunch is usually a quick bite from a nearby tiffin service while sitting on a crate. It’s a hectic life in the market, but there is something good about seeing a bike look a bit better after a customer finds what they were after. We have been here for years, through the rain and the heat, just keeping the shop open and doing what we do.
