We are over at Shop Number 16 right opposite Indra Market in the Old Subzi Mandi area. If you have ever been to the vegetable market you know how chaotic it gets in the mornings. There are carts and people everywhere and the noise is something else. Our shop is small but we make the most of the space we have. We have been here for years and have seen the market change quite a bit. We don't have any polished corporate brochures or a fancy front desk. It is just a counter and some shelves and a couple of us working there. We handle a bit of everything that comes our way. The smell of the market is always there but you stop noticing it after the first hour. We usually start the day with a cup of tea from the stall next door while we wait for the first customers. It is a very hands-on kind of business. We don't spend money on marketing because the foot traffic from the market brings in plenty of people. The walls could use a new coat of paint but we are usually too busy to get around to it. Sometimes we have to shout to be heard over the trucks unloading outside. It is a real local spot and we like the hustle and bustle of the Subzi Mandi. We just keep things simple and honest here and try to help everyone who walks in.
