Being up on the 12th floor of Pragati Tower gives us a decent view of Rajendra Place, though we usually spend more time looking at our screens than out the window. Arkca Software Consultancy Private Limited is based right here in the thick of things. It is a busy building with a lot of people coming and going, so the elevators can be a bit of a wait during the lunch hour. We do a lot of software consulting, which basically means sitting down and figuring out why things are not working the way they should for the people who hire us. It is not always exciting, but it keeps us busy every day. The office is a bit cramped with all the desks and cables everywhere, but we have made it work for us. Sometimes we stay late when a project is particularly tricky, and the view of the city lights is actually quite nice then. We are not a massive firm with hundreds of employees; we are just a small team of people who actually enjoy solving these kinds of puzzles. Rajendra Place is a good spot because everything you need is right nearby, from stationery shops to places to grab a quick bite. We do not have a fancy reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and find someone at a desk. Most of our days are spent on calls or writing code, trying to keep up with everything. It’s just a practical space for practical work.
