Amity Innovations is tucked away at 9163/4 in Multani Dhanda, right in the heart of Paharganj. If you’ve ever been to Paharganj, you know how crowded and lively it is. It’s a maze of streets, and we’re right in the thick of it. Our space is small and we have to be clever about how we use the room we have. It’s usually a bit cramped with boxes and parts, but we’ve managed to make it work. We aren't a big corporation with a skyscraper. We’re just a small group of people working out of a busy neighborhood. The noise from the street is always there, but after a while, you just stop noticing it. We do a lot of our work on old-fashioned workbenches. We aren't trying to be the most modern shop in the world. We just value things that work. Most of our neighbors are also small businesses, so there’s a bit of a community feel here. We help each other out when someone needs a tool or a bit of advice. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. You’ll usually find us in jeans and t-shirts. We don't write long mission statements. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get it done right the first time. It’s a gritty, real place to work, and that suits us just fine.
