Amit Kumar

I have been here at Tis Hazari 151 for quite some time now. If you know this part of Delhi, you know it is always moving and always noisy with people heading to the courts or grabbing a quick bite at the food stalls nearby. My name is Amit Kumar, and this is just the place where I handle my daily business. It is not a fancy setup by any means, just a practical space where I can sit down and get things done. Some mornings are much slower than others, especially when the weather is heavy or the traffic is backed up all the way down the main road. I usually start the day with a glass of tea from the guy around the corner. He has been there as long as I have. The walls here have seen a lot of paperwork and many different faces coming through the door over the years. I do not really go for those big speeches about what I do or why I do it. It is more about showing up and doing the job right every single day. People know where to find me. Sometimes the ceiling fans are a bit loud, and the chairs might creak, but the space works for me. Being in such a central spot means I see a bit of everything. I have lived in this city all my life, so the chaos feels like home to me.
