Vasathi Architects & Engineers

We are over here at Vasathi Architects & Engineers. The office is tucked away on the second floor of the Golden Chamber building. If you know the area around Chalappuram in Kozhikode, you’ve probably passed by Kandamkulam Road a few times. It’s a busy spot near Palli Calicut. Being up on the second floor means we get a bit of a view of the street below, which is usually full of bikes and people going about their day. Our space isn't huge, but it fits the desks and all the drawings we have piled up. Sometimes the stairs feel a bit steep after a long day, but it’s just part of being in this old building. We spend most of our time here looking at blueprints or talking about engineering stuff for different local projects. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans going full speed. People stop by to drop off paperwork or just to ask questions about building things. It’s mostly just us working through the details of whatever project is on the table that week. We've been at this address for a while now, so the neighbors in the other offices know us pretty well. It’s a plain office, nothing fancy, just a lot of paper, some computers, and a few chairs for when people come in to chat about their plans. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the maps and site plans just take over the whole room.
