Our mill and agro business is over in Dumri Tola, in the Simri block of Buxar. We are set up at Dharmendra Kumar Rai's place. It is a very practical operation. You can hear the machines grinding grain throughout the day, and there is always a layer of flour dust on the windows. We aren't just an office; we are a working site. People bring their grain to us, and we handle the milling and the business side of things. It is noisy and it is hard work, especially when the weather is humid. Buxar has some of the best soil, and we see a lot of high-quality grain come through our doors. We don't have a fancy reception area or anyone to greet you at the door. You just walk in and find whoever is working. We keep our records in a small room away from the main machines to try and keep them clean. Dharmendra is usually around to oversee the daily tasks. We are a private limited company, but we feel more like a local workshop. We don't use big corporate words or have a mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure the mill stays running and the farmers get their grain processed on time. It is a messy, honest business that keeps us on our feet from dawn till dusk.
