Itarhi Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are the Itarhi Farmer Producer Company Limited, based right in the heart of Itarhi village in the Buxar district. Our office is in Tola-Itarhi, which is where most of us grew up. We are a group of farmers who decided it was better to work together than to try and do everything alone. Buxar has always been a place where people know their way around a farm. We don't have any slick marketing or a team of people in suits. We are usually wearing our work clothes and have a bit of dirt under our fingernails. That’s because we are actually out there in the fields every day. This company is our way of trying to get a better deal for our crops and making sure the local farmers have what they need. It isn't always smooth sailing; there are plenty of days when things don't go as planned. But we just deal with it and move on to the next task. Our office is just a simple room where we keep our records and have our meetings. There is nothing fancy about it. We use simple English and talk to each other like neighbors, because that’s what we are. We aren't looking to be famous or huge. We just want to do good work for our village and make sure our community stays strong. It’s just us, the land, and the work. We are happy with how things are going and hope to keep it up for the long haul.
