Our business, Sanwariya Stone Suppliers, is based in Village Bajwara. We are located right near the Govt. Secondary School in the Nainwa Tehsil area. It’s a quiet village most of the time, except when we have the trucks coming in to pick up stone. Being near the school means we have to be careful when the kids are arriving or leaving, so we time our big movements around those hours. The work we do is physical and often messy. We have piles of stone in the yard and the sound of cutting or loading is what you’ll hear if you walk by. We don't have a front office with a receptionist. Usually, whoever is around will come out to talk to you. We've lived in Bajwara for a long time, so we know most of the families here. It’s a small operation, just a few of us handling everything from the digging to the loading. Sometimes the weather stops us, especially during the heavy rains when the ground gets too soft for the heavy machinery. We just wait it out and get back to it when things dry up. It’s a simple way of working. We don’t need much more than our tools and a bit of space to keep the stone ready for whoever needs it in the district. It is just how things are done here in the village.
