Acc Ltd

We are based at Ort-10 in the Acc Colony in Lakheri, out in the Bundi district of Rajasthan. Like most places around here, everything revolves around the plant. This particular office is one of the older units in the colony, so it has a bit of character, even if the doors creak and the windows don't always close perfectly. Working for Acc Ltd here means you are part of the landscape. The ground is often dry and rocky, and we see a lot of trucks moving through the main gates of the works. Inside the office, we keep things simple. There are a few tables, some old chairs that have been repaired a couple of times, and a mountain of files that never seems to get smaller. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to the workers who live in the same colony. It’s a tight-knit community, so news travels fast around here. In the afternoons, the heat can get quite intense, and the office gets a bit quiet as everyone slows down. We don’t have any fancy signs or modern decor, just the essentials to get the job done. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. At the end of the day, we just lock up and walk a few minutes back to our quarters or the local market for some supplies. It’s been our home for many years and we are used to the rhythm of the place.
