Renaissance School

We started Renaissance School here on DM Road in Bulandshahr quite some time back. It's a busy part of town but inside the gate, things are a bit different. Every morning, the noise from the road fades out as students start arriving. We have kids from all over the neighborhood. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we know the families pretty well. We don't have fancy office buildings or a lot of complicated rules, just classrooms and a playground that gets a lot of use. The building is solid, though maybe it could use a fresh coat of paint in a few spots. We spend our days making sure the kids actually learn something useful and stay out of trouble. There’s always a lot of paperwork to deal with, and sometimes the fans in the old wing make too much noise, but we get through it. People around here know where to find us if they have questions about their children. It’s a local place. We don’t try to be something we’re not. The bus drivers know the routes by heart now. On hot afternoons, the shade under the trees in the corner is the best place to be. We just keep the gates open and do the work that needs doing. It’s not always quiet, and things don’t always go perfectly, but that’s how a school is. We’re just part of the community here in Bulandshahr. We’ve been here for a long time.
