Started this group in Chalantapara to help each other out. Our work happens at Puspita Mandal’s place over at 42 Kirtanparakirtanpara in Bongaigaon. It is just a bunch of us local farmers trying to make things work. Often the weather here in Assam is tough but we keep at it. Farming involves growing crops and looking after the soil. Most days are spent out in the fields or chatting about what needs to be done next. This isn't a fancy setup. We just wanted a way to handle our produce better as a group instead of doing everything alone. A lot of hard work goes into farming here. Many of us have lived in this part of Bongaigaon for a long time. Our address is easy to find if you know the Kirtanpara area. We just want to get through the seasons and make sure our families are okay. Since we were kids, some of us have been in the fields. It’s what we know.
