Azad Kokila Dairy Producer Company Limited

Azad Kokila Dairy is based right at Abdus Sattar’s house in Kokila Maz Para. If you’re coming from Abhayapuri, it’s not too far of a drive into Bongaigaon district. We are focused on milk and the cows that produce it. Life here starts very early, usually before the sun is even up, because that is when the milking happens. We formed this company to help the local dairy farmers get their milk to more people. It is a lot of heavy lifting, carrying cans back and forth. The floor is usually wet from cleaning the containers. We don't have a corporate office with fancy carpets. Our office is just a room with some benches and a desk where we keep track of who brought in what. Sometimes the cows get sick or the feed price goes up, and those are the days we sit around and worry. But mostly, it’s just a routine. We talk to the guys in the village, check the quality, and move the milk along. Kokila is a decent place to work, even if the summers get incredibly humid. We keep our paperwork in order as best as we can. It’s a local effort, through and through. Nothing fancy, just hard work and plenty of milk to go around every single morning. We’ve been here for a while and don't plan on going anywhere else. It is a life we know well.
