Hdfc

Down in Vivek Vihar, specifically at D-207, is where we spend our days at Hdfc. Being in Delhi, there is always that hum of activity in the background. This part of the city has a certain feel to it, and our building fits right in. It is an older structure, so the rooms have high ceilings and the hallways are a bit dim. We share the area with plenty of other offices and families. Finding a parking spot can be a real headache some days, so many of us just take the bus or the metro. Inside, it is a mix of old wooden desks and newer computers. We don't bother with fancy carpets or expensive art. The focus is on getting the numbers right and making sure the files are in the right place. During lunch, we usually sit together and talk about whatever is on the news. The Vivek Vihar area is always changing, but D-207 stays pretty much the same. We have a small balcony where we keep a few potted plants that struggle a bit in the summer heat. It’s a real place with real people who sometimes forget their keys or spill their tea. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We just want to finish our work and head home through the Delhi traffic like everyone else. It is a busy life, but this office is our home base for the eight hours we are here.
