Birla Sun Life Insurance Limited

We are based in Sector 2 A of Bokaro Steel City, specifically at Quarter Number 3-160. It is a typical Bokaro setup, being part of the residential quarters, so the atmosphere is very different from a high-rise office building. We have converted this space to handle the Birla Sun Life Insurance needs of the people living in the steel city. It feels quite lived-in and comfortable, almost like visiting a neighbor instead of a business. We have our desks set up in the main room, and that is where we do all the typing and filing for the policies. Because it’s a quarter, it can be a little hard to find the exact number if you aren't familiar with the layout of Sector 2 A, but once you find us, it’s a very direct process. We don't have any receptionists or big waiting rooms; you just walk in and we see what you need. Most of our work involves helping people understand their renewals or helping them fill out the claim forms correctly. We have a lot of regular visitors from the plant and the nearby houses who have been with us for years. It’s a small, steady operation that doesn't involve much noise or fuss. We just keep our records straight and help whoever comes to the door. It’s a quiet way to run an insurance office, but it works well for us here.
