Surjya Kiran Crop And Farming Private Limited is located along Haldiabari Road. We are pretty close to the LP School in Biswanath. Our main spot is at Sailen Boro’s place, house number 147 in Kunwari. It’s a quiet area, but we stay busy with the farming side of things. We focus on crops and general farming work. It's not a complicated business model. We just grow things and try to sell them for a fair price. We’ve been working this land for quite a while now. The office is just a simple space where we keep the ledger and handle the paperwork that the government requires. Sometimes it feels like there’s more paperwork than actual farming. We have a few people who help out with the daily tasks. It’s mostly manual work, getting our hands dirty every single day. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people find us because they live nearby or they’ve heard about us from someone else in the village. We deal with whatever the season gives us. Some years are better than others, that’s just the way farming goes. We try to keep our costs down so we can keep going. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when it’s time to harvest. We just do the work that needs doing and hope for the best with the crops. The school nearby is always noisy with kids, which is a nice background to the work we do. We’ve lived in Biswanath our whole lives, so we know most of the families around here. It’s just a regular local business trying to do right by the land we have.
