Bhalukaguri Agro Fed Producer Company Limited

Down here in Bhalukaguri Gaon, things move a bit slower which is fine by us. Bhalukaguri Agro Fed Producer Company Limited is based out of Maniram Das’s place. If you know the Dharamtul area, you know it’s mostly just us farmers trying to get by. We started this because doing everything alone was getting too hard and the costs were rising. Now we pool what we have. It’s a lot of meetings under the shade of the trees because it’s much cooler than being inside the house. Maniram handles a lot of the coordination work. We’ve got people coming from all over the local village to drop off their produce. Sometimes the roads are bad after the monsoon, and that makes things really tricky for us. We don’t have a lot of expensive equipment, just the basics that get the job done. It’s a lot of walking and talking. We check the fields together and share tips on what fertilizer is actually working this year. It’s not a corporate setup at all. It’s more like a big group of neighbors helping each other out so we don't get pushed around so much. We drink a lot of tea and argue about the best time to plant, but in the end, we’re all on the same side. We just want to keep the village going and support our own people. It's a tough way to live but we're used to it.
