Rootways Services

Rootways Services is based out of Santiniketan, in the Bolpur area. Most people know this place for the university and the history, but for us, it’s just where we live and work every day. Our services are a bit of a mix, depending on what people in the area need at the time. We might be helping someone with their property, or organizing some local transport, or just handling general maintenance tasks that come up. Being in Santiniketan means we see a lot of visitors, but we also have deep roots with the permanent residents here. We don't have a big flashy office with a receptionist. Usually, we are out in the field or meeting people at a local tea stall to discuss what needs to be done. It’s a very informal way of working, but it works for us. The pace of life in Bolpur is different—you can’t really rush things here. We try to be helpful and honest in whatever we do. It’s a small team, mostly just a few friends and family members who know the area well. We’ve been around for a while and have seen how the town has changed, but our way of doing things stays pretty much the same. We just provide local services to the people around here without making a big deal out of it. It is just our way of staying busy.
