Our office is located in Suri, over in the Birbhum district. We are set up at Sree Pally, specifically at the address of Abhijit Sen. Being out here in Pin-731101, we are quite a distance from the bigger cities like Kolkata, but that’s how we like it. The workspace is part of a residential area, so it feels more like a home office than a big corporate building. We have our desks set up in a couple of rooms and there’s always someone around to answer the door. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, except for when the local kids are playing outside. We spend a lot of our time on projects that take us all over the West Bengal area, but Suri is where we come back to do all the planning and the paperwork. There are plenty of files stacked up on the tables and we use a lot of paper despite everyone talking about going digital. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow out here, but we manage to get things sent out eventually. It isn't a flashy place. We don't have any chrome furniture or glass walls. Just some sturdy tables and chairs and the tools we need for our projects. Most of our neighbors know us by name. We just try to keep a steady pace and get our work finished on time. The walk from the main road is short and we like the local tea shop.
