You can find us over in Ekta Nagar, Bilaspur. We’re located in Gali No. 2, not too far from Dls College. Ravishankar Producer Company Limited is basically a collective of us locals trying to handle our farming business a little better than we could alone. Bilaspur is a big place, but our corner in Ekta Nagar feels like a small community where everyone knows your name. We spend a lot of time talking to the farmers in the area about their needs. We aren't sitting in air-conditioned rooms all day. Most of us are out on the field or sitting on a porch figuring out the next harvest plan. We started this because doing it alone was getting too hard and the costs were rising. Now we pool our resources. It isn't always smooth sailing, of course. Sometimes we disagree on things, but we always work it out over a meal. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. We just tell people what we have and see who needs it. The location near the college makes it easy for folks to find us if they need to drop by. We do a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves because it saves money. It’s rewarding to see the trucks loaded up at the end of a long season. We just keep things moving, one day at a time. It’s a plain and simple business for plain and simple people. We don't need anything more than that.
