Ganiyari Agrni Mahila Farmer Producer Company Limited

We started Ganiyari Agrni Mahila Farmer Producer Company Limited over in Village Chakrakund. It is tucked away in the Chhorbhatti Kala area of Ganiyari. Being part of the Janpad Panchayat Takhatpur in Bilaspur keeps us busy with local matters. This is a group run by women from the village. We did not have much to start with, just some shared space and a lot of work to do. Farming is what we have always done. Now we just do it together as a formal group. The walk to the office takes you past the local fields and small houses. It is a very local operation. We don't have a website or big posters. Word of mouth is how most people find us. There are always kids playing nearby and the sound of cattle. It is a real working village environment. We handle the seeds, the harvests, and the paperwork ourselves. Sometimes it is a struggle to balance the farm work with the office tasks, but we manage. In Bilaspur, the weather dictates everything we do. We talk about the rain a lot. It is the main topic of conversation. Our group is about staying connected and helping each other out through the seasons. It is not about getting rich; it is about making sure the families in Chakrakund have what they need. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the work is handled properly.
