Our company is called Pataneswari Farmer Producer Company. We are based in Damkipali, which is near Patanagarh. If you’re looking for us, we’re care of Nilamani Naik. We are just a local group of farmers who got together to form this company. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to work our land and sell what we grow. Being in Damkipali means we are right in the heart of our farming community. Nilamani is the one who helps keep our records and coordinates our meetings. It’s a very simple operation. We don’t use a lot of big words or have a fancy office. Most of our business happens while we are working or sitting around talking in the evening. We named it after the local area because that’s where our roots are. Patanagarh is our main hub for getting things done. We’ve been farming here for a long time, and this company is just a way for us to be a bit more organized. It’s not always easy, but we prefer working for ourselves. We are just honest people trying to make a living from the ground. That is the long and short of it. We don't really do much in the way of advertising.
