Natarra Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is located over in Rath, specifically in the Ludhiyatpura area. If you know the neighborhood at all, we are at house number 1315 in Ward Number 6, which is Hemendra Singh’s house. It is a pretty busy part of town but we manage to get our work done there. We are a group of farmers who finally decided to come together and call ourselves Natarra. It is mostly about making sure we can sell our produce as a group rather than struggling alone. Farming around Rath has its share of ups and downs, especially when you consider the soil conditions and how the water behaves. Most of the people involved here are just regular folks from the village. We started this whole thing because we felt like we needed a more organized way to handle the stuff we grow. The office is really just one room where we keep our logbooks and meet up in the late evenings to discuss things. You won't find any fancy computers or people in suits here. It’s mostly just boots and dirt. We handle various different crops depending on what everyone happens to be growing in their fields that year. Rath is a good place to be, and we have very deep roots in this soil. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we have long arguments about how to do things, but we get by. We try to keep things as straightforward as we can for everyone involved because nobody has time for complicated games.
