Gayatri Bricks

At Gayatri Bricks, we stay pretty busy. We are right in the Sirgitti Industrial Area, on the main road towards Bangkok, just near K.G. School. It’s a busy spot with trucks going by all day long. Being near the school means we have to be extra careful when the kids are heading home in the afternoon. We produce bricks right here on this lot. It's a dirty job, and there’s always dust in the air, but that’s just how it goes with this kind of work. We’ve got a small crew that has been with us for years. We know the machines pretty well by now, though they do act up sometimes when it gets too hot. We don't have a receptionist or a big sign. Most people just walk in and look for me or one of the guys by the kilns. We show them what we’ve got stacked up and figure out how to get it to their site. It’s honest work, and it keeps food on the table. Sometimes we run out of certain sizes if a big project starts up nearby. But we just keep making more. The main road can get crowded, so we try to load the lorries early in the morning. It’s just us doing our thing every day, making bricks for whoever needs them. We aren't trying to be something we aren't, just a local spot that stays regular with its work.
