Gaukaran Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in Namhol, which is in the Bilaspur district. We have a small setup right in the village. This area is mostly known for its hills and the way people live simply. Our name has Gau in it because cows are a big part of what we do and value here. We are a group of farmers who felt like we needed to stand together. Farming in Bilaspur has its own set of challenges, like the steep ground and the water. We don't have a big fancy office with computers and air conditioning. We mostly meet outside or in a small room in Vpo Namhol. It's a very local operation. We know all the families around here. When we talk about the company, we are really talking about our neighbors. We aren't trying to sell you anything with big promises. We just want to produce good things from our land and our livestock. Everyone contributes what they can. Some days are harder than others, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate. But that's just part of life in Namhol. We keep our records in simple books and focus on the day-to-day work. It's a group of people who trust each other.
