Bamhanidih Women Farmer Producer Company Limited is based at Ward No. 11, House No. 416 Bamhanidih 495660. Our group is made up of women from the neighborhood who decided to take things into our own hands. We use one of the rooms in the house as our main office. It’s always full of energy when we all gather there. We talk about the farming cycles and how we can manage our harvests better. Being in Bamhanidih, we know everyone on our street, and people often stop by to see how we are doing. We don't have a marketing budget or a big staff. We do the cleaning, the paperwork, and the planning ourselves. The house is a bit old, and the fans make a clicking sound, but it’s where we feel most comfortable. We try to keep things organized, though with so many of us, it can get a little messy with files and ledgers everywhere. We aren't trying to act like a big corporation. We are just village women who know a lot about farming. We face a lot of challenges, like when the power goes out or when the market prices drop, but we deal with them together. It’s a simple way of working. We focus on the land and the crops that keep our families going. There’s no need for anything more complicated than that for us.
