Birsa Crop Producer Company Limited

Our group is based out of Sagunlal’s old place, number 16797. It’s in the village of Devatola Mohgaon. It's a bit of a drive to get here from the main town, but it's where the actual work happens. We are a producer company, so it's a bunch of us working together. We don't have a fancy office. It’s more of a gathering place for the local farmers. We talk about the crops and how to get things to the market without too much trouble. The building is old but it stays dry when it rains. We have some benches outside where people sit and wait their turn to speak. It's a community thing. No one here wears a suit. We wear what we wear to the fields. It’s more practical that way. We have some ledgers where we keep track of everything by hand. It takes time but it works for us. The village life is slow but we keep moving. Sometimes we have meetings under the big tree nearby if the room gets too hot. It’s just how things are done here. We don't need much more than some paper and a few good heads together. Everyone knows Sagunlal’s house, so finding us isn't too hard once you get into Devatola. We've been here for a few years now. The harvest dictates our schedule every year. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just keep talking. We use a small torch if it gets too dark to see the books and the writing.
