Bhimkund Unnati Producer Company Limited

Bhimkund Unnati is situated in Village Bijapuri, which is near the post office in Bilaspur. We use Bihari Singh’s place as our main hub for the producer company. Bilaspur is a place with a lot of farming history, and we are just trying to add our own chapter to it. Being a producer company means we spend a lot of time coordinating with different families in the village. It can be a headache sometimes, trying to get everyone on the same page, but it’s worth it. Our office is simple, just a couple of rooms where we keep our supplies and our ledgers. We don't have any fancy technology, just the basics to keep track of what we’re doing. You’ll hear a lot of local dialect and see people coming in with mud on their shoes. That’s just how it is here. We focus on the practical things, like when the seeds will arrive or how we’re going to transport the grain. It’s not a polished operation, and we don’t pretend it is. We are just a bunch of neighbors working together to make sure we all get a better price and better results from our labor. Sometimes we stay late into the evening talking about our plans for the next season. It’s a community effort more than anything else, and we are proud to be part of Bijapuri.
