Auricularia Agrotech Private Limited

Out in the village of Jhabola, which is part of Jhandutta in the Bilaspur district, we started Auricularia Agrotech Private Limited. It’s a quiet area, and most people here have been farming for generations. We wanted to look into some of the more technical sides of agriculture, but we are doing it in a very local, hands-on way. We don't have a laboratory or anything like that. It is mostly just us experimenting with different crops and techniques right in our own fields. Being in Bilaspur, we have to deal with the heat, which can be quite intense during the summer months. Our office is a small room in Vpo Jhabola where we keep our supplies and talk about the next season. We are not a big company with lots of money. We are just local folks who think there might be better ways to grow things if we put our minds to it. Sometimes our experiments work and sometimes they don't, but we learn as we go. We share what we find with the other families in the village. It is a community effort more than anything else. We spend a lot of time outside, checking on the soil and seeing how the plants are holding up. It is a slow way of doing business, but it feels right for a place like Jhandutta. We don't mind the hard work as long as it leads to something useful for the village.
