We are located out in Padiabahal, which is a bit of a drive from the main Sambalpur town. It’s a quiet area, mostly fields and trees around us. Being in this part of Orissa means things move a little slower. We spend a lot of time outside because that’s the whole point of what we do. The air is better here than in the cities, though the mosquitoes can be a real pain in the evenings. We’ve got our setup here in the district, and we’re used to the dusty roads and the seasonal changes. When it rains, everything gets muddy fast, but that’s just how it is. We don’t have a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s more of a practical base for our gear and for planning where to go next. Most days involve checking tents or talking to people about the local spots. Sambalpur has some nice landscapes if you know where to look. People around here are mostly farmers or small shop owners. We try to keep things simple and not overcomplicate things. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us making sure everything is ready for the next trip.
