You can find Abc Travels over at House No. 20 in Ratnakar Bagh. It’s a small place, essentially run out of a house, which makes the whole thing feel pretty informal. We’ve been doing this for a while now, helping folks with their travel plans and tickets. Since we are in Ratnakar Bagh, it's a lot of local families who stop by to ask about bus routes or train bookings. We have a couple of desks and a computer that’s seen better days, but it gets the job done eventually. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait a bit to confirm things, which can be frustrating. We don't have those big glossy posters or fancy brochures you see in the malls. It’s just us and a few notebooks where we jot down the details. People call us at odd hours sometimes because they’re stuck somewhere or need a quick booking for a relative. We try to help out when we can. It’s not a fancy office with a receptionist or coffee machine. Usually, whoever is sitting nearest the door is the one you talk to. We know the regular routes and the best times to avoid the rush because we live here too. Running a travel desk from home means there isn't much of a boundary between work and life, but we don't really mind it. It’s just how we operate. We just want to make sure people get where they’re going without too much trouble or confusion on the way for any of our customers.
