Yash Stone

Yash Stone is located on Pared Road in Ganj Basoda, right near the S.G.S. College. It’s a good spot because the college is a landmark everyone knows. We’ve been here for a long time now, and we’ve seen the town grow quite a bit around us. Our yard is filled with various types of stone that we collect from the surrounding areas. It is heavy, rough work and you end up with sore muscles at the end of most days. We don't have a big corporate office; we just have a small desk in the corner of the shed where we handle the bills. Most of the day, we are out in the yard or under the cutting roof. We have a small crew of workers who have become like family over the years. We talk about the weather and the local news while we work. It’s a noisy place with the sound of the stone being moved and cut, but we don't mind it. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that because most people just know where to find us. If a truck breaks down or the rain starts, it throws our schedule off, but we just catch up the next day. We don't have any grand plans to change things. We just want to keep providing stone to the people who need it and keep the business running smoothly like it has been for years.
