Oriental Institute Of Science & Technology

The Oriental Institute of Science & Technology is set up on Raisen Road, positioned right across from Patel Nagar and Thakral Nagar. It is a pretty well-known spot in this part of Bhopal because the campus is quite large and visible from the main road. If you are traveling down Raisen Road, you can’t really miss the turn-off for our gates. We have a lot of different buildings for the various science and technology courses, and they are all connected by paved paths that get a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. The labs have been set up with various tools and machines that the students use for their experiments, and while they aren't brand new, they work fine for what we need. The atmosphere is generally quite busy, with a mix of faculty members rushing to their next class and students hanging out in the common areas. We have some green spaces where people sit when they have a gap in their schedule, which provides a bit of a break from the noise of the city. The administrative offices are usually full of people trying to sort out their paperwork or fees. It is a very practical kind of place, where the focus is on the daily work of teaching and learning rather than looking like a fancy hotel. We have been part of this Raisen Road community for a long time and we just keep doing our thing every day.
