NRI Group of Institutions is located at 1 Sajjan Singh Nagar, which sits right opposite Patel Nagar along the Raisen Road. This area of Bhopal is always moving, and being on Raisen Road means we see a lot of the city’s activity every single day. The campus is spread out enough that you don’t feel too cramped, even when all the different departments are busy with their own thing. We have been at this location for a good number of years, so the buildings have that lived-in feel that comes with thousands of students passing through the corridors. There are plenty of trees around the site which helps keep things a bit cooler during the hot months, though the humidity still gets to everyone eventually. You will usually find the faculty sitting in the staff rooms grading papers or chatting about the day's lessons. It is not a corporate office environment; it is a place for learning, so there is always a bit of a mess with papers and books lying around. We keep the labs open for the students who need to finish their practicals, and the library is usually quiet enough for those who want to read. The canteen is a popular spot for a quick snack, and it gets pretty loud in there around noon. It is a straightforward institution where we focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the students know their way around the equipment.
