Feris Ladies Beauty Parlour & Training Centre

Feris Ladies Beauty Parlour & Training Centre is right in G 10 of the City Centre building in Ibrahimpura, Bhopal. Being in a shopping complex means there are always people passing by the window. The room isn't huge but we made enough space for the parlor chairs and a corner for the training students to gather. Bhopal weather can be unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time adjusting the curtains to keep the sun out. The floor is tiled and we have to mop it several times a day to keep it looking okay. We have different stations for threading and hair work. The students bring their own notebooks to write down what they learn while watching us work on clients. It is often loud with the sound of blow dryers and people chatting about their day. We keep our supplies in the cabinets under the main counter. Most of our regulars live nearby or work in the other shops in City Centre. There is a small bench for people to wait on if we are busy. We don’t use any big signs inside, just the equipment we need to get the work finished. At the end of the day, we pack up the kits and turn off the lights. It’s a straightforward business where we focus on the tasks at hand. Working in Ibrahimpura keeps us busy because the area is always full of life and noise from the streets.
