Mirza Stones

We have been here at 16/A in New Ashoka Garden for quite some time now. Most people know Mirza Stones just by walking past the yard. It is a busy place with a lot of heavy lifting going on every single day. If you come by, you will see slabs of stone leaning against the walls and workers moving things around. The area around New Ashoka Garden is usually quiet, but our spot is always humming with some kind of activity. It is not a fancy showroom or anything like that. We just have the stones and the space to work on them. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that is just part of the job when you deal with this kind of material. We mostly deal with local folks who are building something or fixing up a floor. It is basic work, really. We spend our mornings checking the stock and the afternoons loading up trucks. It gets hot in the summer, especially out in the open parts of the yard, but we keep at it. People come in looking for something specific for their house, and we show them what we have in the back. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork if we can help it. We would rather be out there looking at the inventory. That is just how things run at Mirza Stones.
