Kaushiks Beauty & Hair Academy

We are located on the 3rd floor of Metro Plaza in Arera Colony, Bhopal. The building is right in the Bittan Market area, which is always full of people. We have shop number 8. It's a bit of a different setup because we do hair and beauty services but we also teach students. It’s not like a big polished school, just a practical space where we have enough mirrors and chairs for everyone to learn. We get people from all over the city who want to learn how to cut hair or do makeup. The room is usually pretty noisy because of the hair dryers and everyone talking at once. We use mannequins for the students to practice their skills on. It is very hands-on work. We show them how to handle the tools and how to mix the hair colors. Bittan Market is a very busy place, so there's always something to see out the window. Sometimes the place gets a bit cluttered with all the student kits and equipment, but we make sure to clean it all up every evening. Working here means spending a lot of hours on your feet. We don't have uniforms or anything like that. It's just a place to get real skills so you can work in a shop one day. Most of us here just enjoy the trade. It’s a good way to meet new people and help them get started.
